COCAS and ME Living are nonprofit organizations committed to empowering vulnerable populations through trauma-informed care, therapy, housing support, and reentry services. We are building a high-performance therapeutic team and are seeking clinical leaders to ensure quality service delivery.

🔍 Position Overview:

The Lead Therapist / Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical oversight, supervision, and support to a team of therapists and counselors. You will ensure that all mental health services meet ethical, legal, and Medicaid/Medicare standards while also providing direct therapy to clients when needed.

🎯 Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of therapists, interns, and contractors

  • Conduct weekly clinical supervision and case consultations

  • Review treatment plans, SOAP notes, and documentation for accuracy and compliance

  • Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and crisis support to the clinical team

  • Maintain a small caseload for high-risk or complex clients

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, professional ethics, and licensure standards

  • Support onboarding and credentialing of new clinicians

  • Work with leadership to design new therapy programs and outcome tracking

✅ Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD) in Georgia or California

  • Approved supervisor status (e.g., ACS, or state-approved clinical supervisor credential)

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a community mental health or social services setting

  • Experience with trauma-informed therapy and underserved populations

  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare documentation and billing procedures

🌟 Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience building and supervising therapy teams

  • Familiarity with Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), DBT, CBT, and crisis stabilization

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or ASL) preferred
